The Disability Gateway is a free national information and referral service assisting people with disability, their families friends and carers to help find the support they need in Australia.

The Disability Gateway works across ten areas of life connecting enquirers to support within Income and Finance, Employment, Aids and Equipment, Housing, Transport, Health and Wellbeing, Everyday Living, Education, Leisure, and, Rights and Legal.

Red Cross FDV Financial Assistance

The Australian Red Cross’ Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) Financial Assistance program is available to all people on temporary visas, or with uncertain visa status, experiencing family and domestic violence, in need of financial support.

The Financial Assistance program provides up to $3,000 in financial assistance to people who are eligible to help cover expenses such as accommodation, food, and medical care.

Mission Australia - SPIN180 Youth Homelessness

The SPIN 180 program in Darwin supports young people who are at risk of homelessness or who have disengaged from school, education, employment or their family and community. The program aims to divert them away from homelessness and anti-social behaviour, which can have far-reaching impacts on their functioning in the community.

Healthy Families 12 week residential rehabilitation and Children's program

CAAPS AOD 12 Week Residential Program focuses on providing individuals and families with a safe and supportive environment to address substance use issues. The Healthy Families program is made up of a range of education sessions and activities that cover substance use, healthy lifestyles, livelihood, cultural sessions, trauma and healing, and family relationships including parenting. In addition to this, participants of the program have access to onsite counselling, specialist counselling, peer support groups, housing and livelihood support.

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching

Uses a person-centred, strengths-based approach to build strong relationships with participants. Recovery Coaches aim to help participants build long-lasting hope and increase their capacity for managing their own mental health journey. Recovery Coaching involves NDIS Support Coordination of both informal and formal supports. They help to facilitate the participant’s and relevant stakeholder’s understanding of the NDIS and utilisation of their NDIS funds.

Improve access to mental health services early in the trajectory of mental illness, or potential mental illness, to improve the likelihood of recovery as well as improved health outcomes

Provide Territorians with evidence based psychological intervention (eg cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), assistance with navigating other low intensity mental health supports.
