Disability Gateway - Connecting you to information and services

The Disability Gateway is a free national information and referral service assisting people with disability, their families friends and carers to help find the support they need in Australia.

The Disability Gateway works across ten areas of life connecting enquirers to support within Income and Finance, Employment, Aids and Equipment, Housing, Transport, Health and Wellbeing, Everyday Living, Education, Leisure, and, Rights and Legal.

Healthy Families 12 week residential rehabilitation and Children's program

CAAPS AOD 12 Week Residential Program focuses on providing individuals and families with a safe and supportive environment to address substance use issues. The Healthy Families program is made up of a range of education sessions and activities that cover substance use, healthy lifestyles, livelihood, cultural sessions, trauma and healing, and family relationships including parenting. In addition to this, participants of the program have access to onsite counselling, specialist counselling, peer support groups, housing and livelihood support.

Alcohol and Other Drugs Services Central Australia (ADSCA)

Provides treatment for drug, tobacco and alcohol issues to the Central Australian area. The service offers specialised assessment, treatment and referral for a range of alcohol and other drug use issues. Services include non-residential treatment, opioid pharmacotherapy, drug and alcohol detoxification programs and community education programs.

Strong Steps AOD Counselling and Information Service

Strong Steps is a free service for individuals and families experiencing issues with methamphetamine, other drugs and alcohol. Strong Steps provides counselling sessions or you can drop in and we will provide you with information. We offer flexible services in a comfortable, confidential and child friendly environment.

Mission Australia Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Service

The Mission Australia Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Service is a person-centred residential program in Darwin, NT. The service provides day and therapeutic services and programs for people with alcohol and other drug addictions including volatile substance misuse while addressing the impact of substance misuse on people's mental health and wellbeing.

Holyoake Alice Springs works to empower the Alice Springs community to reduce the harmful effects of alcohol and other drug misuse by providing evidence based counselling and education programs, and ongoing support.

Alcohol and Drug Counselling Service

Group programs for family members. For people using alcohol and/or other drugs and children on a need basis.

Drug and Alcohol Intensive Support Program for Youth (DAISY)

DAISY works on a harm minimisation model and believes that a respectful, supportive and empathetic relationship is important for young people.

Sobering-Up Shelter - Katherine

The Sobering-Up Shelter provides safe, alternate accommodation where intoxicated people can be cared for until the period of acute intoxication has passed. The service promotes individual and community wellbeing by minimising the harm associated with alcohol and other substance abuse through a coordinated range of approaches.
