The Katherine Doorways Hub

The Katherine Doorways Hub is a drop-in centre and community space supporting people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the Katherine region. As well as a safe and friendly place to come and relax in the air conditioning, at the Hub you can access food (soup every day at 11am), washing machines and dryers, clothes, showers, sanitary products and cold water. Tea, coffee or toast can be purchased from The Beacon for 50c. The Salvation Army emergency relief runs from the Hub Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9am -10:30am. The Hub offers a voluntary Case Management program called Hub Support. Legal, medical, mental health, Centrelink, family  and other social supports can be accessed at the Hub.
