Todd Street Program

The Salvation Army Men’s Program is a specialist service providing accommodation and support to adult males who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

The program provides
• 24 independent units that enable our program to improve our service by offering a deeper connection to participants goals for independent living
• The unit complex is gated, there are security cameras, onsite parking for residents, and a yarning circle to provide connectiveness between residents
• Participants are supported as tenants through tenancy support and tenancy management. Tenancy support remains a voluntary commitment and not a requirement of lease terms
• Case management that focuses on addressing specific needs of the individual include tenancy support, advocacy, financial planning, safety planning, health and wellbeing, mental health, family, employment, education, access to training, disability, life skills and lifestyle choices, community knowledge, existing supports, income, and achieving sustainable tenancy outcomes

Assessment Procedure: 
Once we receive a referral or a person presents we will add them to our waitlist and organise an assessment at our office when a unit becomes available.
