Keeping Women Safe in Their Homes

When women have experienced domestic and family violence, they might need support to stay safe in their homes.

The Keeping Women Safe in their Homes program provides risk assessments, safety planning and security upgrades for women and their children to help them stay in their own homes, or a home of their choice, provided it’s safe to do so.

Housing for Young People Program

Housing for Young People Program focuses on building young people’s independence by providing support to help them sustain their tenancy, while also encouraging participation in education, training and/or employment. Young people in the program receive a rental subsidy that is reduced each year over four years to help prepare them for renting independently in the private rental market. As the subsidy is reduced, the young person’s rent goes up until they are paying full market rent by Year Five.
