Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS)

General medical services are provided for Indigenous families and singles.

Healthy Families Community-Based Program

A twelve week residential treatment program for Indigenous people with problems relating to alcohol and other drug misuse.

Healthy Families Program

A family support service providing for individuals and families who are receiving treatment at CAAPS. Offered counselling for AOD, relationships and parenting skills. Children’s program is also available; helps children and young people deal with their feelings about family members who drink, increases protective factors and life skills development.

Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Service

The Social & Emotional Wellbeing Service provides therapy, counselling and cultural and social support including treatment for addictions, for Aboriginal people and their families.

Carer Support Services - Katherine

Provides support, information, education and respite for carers of the frail aged, those with chronic illness including mental illness and those with other disabilities.

Carer Support Services - Darwin

Carers of people who have a disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness or who are frail.

Carer Gateway Service Provider - Alice Springs

Provides support, information and education for carers who provide unpaid support to a family member or friend who has a disability, mental illness, chronic condition including terminal illness or someone who is frail aged.

Intensive Support Programs for Young People

BushMob runs a residential facility for young people aged 12 to 25 years of age, wanting to get their lives back on track without alcohol, drugs or sniffing.

The BushMob residential service provides:
- 24 hour care
- case management
- counselling, brief interventions and life skill development programs
- education and training, and positive life choices

The BushMob residential program requires the participants to undertake alcohol and other drug assessments, receive medical check-ups and receive counselling.

Youth Accommodation and Other Services

Bush Adventure Therapy Program

An early intervention program providing weekly, overnight and two-week adventure bush trips and camps. The program works to prevent youth homelessness; drug, alcohol and sniffing misuse and disconnection of young people from their school, family and community.
