Sobering-Up Shelter

The DASA Sobering-Up Shelter provides accommodation for people who need to sober up following drug or alcohol abuse and have come to the attention of the police. Breakfast is included.

Independent Living Program

Apartments are available for clients to live in with their family while they still retain the support of the Case Management Team from Aranda House.

Aranda House

Aranda House is a residential rehabilitation facility that offers a 12 week program and an 8 week program for volatile substance misuse.

Legal Information and Advice

Provides free legal advice, advocacy and referral relating to disability discrimination, disability and aged care, welfare rights, human rights and public interest law.

Homelessness Legal Service

Legal service for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Outreach services included.

Mobile Clinic

A mobile clinic offers health services for the frail aged, the ill and those with disabilities who are unable to attend the Health Service and for those who do not have transport.

Sexual Health

A sexual health clinic for the Indigenous community, includes testing, counselling and medical treatment for HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.

Infant and Child Health Screening

Screening and monitoring of health for infants and children under five years old is provided as well as advice about health concerns for parents with children in this age group.

Counselling

Emotional and social wellbeing counselling and support are offered for those affected as a result of the stolen generations. General counselling and women's groups are also available.

Social and Emotional Wellbeing

A social and emotional wellbeing worker is available to provide support for members of the Indigenous community who have mental health problems or emotional difficulties.
